Gold Limited Edition Collection Mizuchi Shirisaya

From the Musashi Gold Limited Edition Collection comes this intricately hand-engraved crafted "MIZUCHI" Shirisaya . The T-10 high carbon steel blade is hand forged and polished, which results in a beautiful and functional blade with real hamon.

The MIZUCHI meaning is a type of Japanese dragon or legendary serpent-like creature, either found in an aquatic habitat or otherwise connected to water. Some commentators perceived it to have been a water deity. It is engraved on the saya with openings allowing some glimpses to the beautiful blade resting inside

The blade of the sword has been hand forged from T10 steel, and has been clay tempered and water quenched. The result is a gorgeous Gunome style hamon on the blade. The natural wood saya (scabbard) is made of rosewood that has a hand engraved ''MIZUCHI" dragon pattern on both sides of the wooden saya.

Included with this Shirisaya is a sword bag, deluxe gift box, Certificate of Authenticity, and a wood display stand. Each sword is individually numbered on the blade with matching Certificate of Authenticity.
