Musashi Fuji Katana

From the Musashi Silver Shirakawa Series comes this intricately hand-crafted Fuji Katana. Maru-kitae hand forged technique using 1060 high carbon steel furnished with Gunome style hamon, the Fuji katana is one that is ready for any battle.

The detailed brass tsuba depicts fierce samurais engaged in battle under the majestic Mt. Fuji which is known as one of the three holy mountains and is commonly used as a symbol of Japan.

Another unique feature is the integrated Bo-Hi on the blade. Bo-Hi is commonly known as blood grooves, but that is a common misconception. The purpose of the Bo-Hi is to help reduce the weight of the katana, it has nothing to do with channeling the blood. Making the Katana lighter enables the user to wield the katana better and puts less stress on the hands. Not to mention it benefits some advanced cutting techniques that require the katana to change direction rapidly.

Included with this katana is a sword bag and Certificate of Authenticity. Each sword is individually numbered on the tang.
