I recommend this item to anyone who’s looking for a functional, affordable, and collectible Katana. Customer service too was exceptional. I've purchased a few Samurai swords in the $300 - $500 range and they were nice. However, this one is leaps and bounds above the others I have!

I'm a custom knife maker and I have a lot of equipment to test the blade steel. This sword is hardened and tempered perfectly! It came with a nice sharp edge, and the Damascus pattern is beautiful.

The workmanship on the sheath is very nice, and the storage box is a very nice bonus. I plan to try some bamboo and mat cuts with this one. We'll see how it stands up.

Wow!! This is my 5th katana. I'm hooked. Is it the blade geometry, or the sharpness? This weapon cuts!!! Maybe it's me because I'm so stoked about the Coal Katana!!!

The sword was nice, but the shipping method was bad,you used USPS who treat packages badly ,your shipping policy says anything over$100 has to be signed for,the post office just literally threw it on the porch with no signature.
