From the Musashi Silver series comes this intricately hand-crafted “Kurēn” (Crane) Katana by Master Sword Smith Shen Zhou. Hand-forged using 1060 high-carbon steel, it is a must-have katana for any serious collector or practitioner of the way of the samurai. The blade has gone through a clay-tempering process and features a real hamon. 

The blade's polish is almost mirror-like. You can see your reflections on the blade. The handle is real ray skin wrapped in a brown cotton cord. The kiku gata style tsuba features a traditional Japanese crane design. The black wooden saya holds the katana securely until you're ready to use it.

Award-winning Master Sword Smith Shen Zhou is one of the top swordsmiths in China. Coming from generations of master swordsmiths dating back to 1885, Master Shen, with over 27 years of experience, has become a well-known and respected Master Swordsmith worldwide. He has forged swords for numerous top Chinese government officials. The current President of China, Xi Jinping; the Sultan of Oman; the former President of Chile; and celebrities Jet Li and billionaire businessman Jack Ma are just a few of the collectors who own swords from Master Shen.

This katana includes a sword bag for storage. Each sword is individually numbered on the tang and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
